Success at the Commercial Broker Awards 2021
The team at Bathgate Business Finance has been awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the CBILS Broker of the Year category at the prestigious NACFB Commercial Broker Awards 2021.
The winners were announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on 29th September. The category recognised businesses that utilised the scheme and provided a vital lifeline to clients impacted by the pandemic, with Bathgate being recognised placing more than £30 million funding through the CBILS scheme and providing much-needed liquidity into the SME market during the COVID-19 crisis.
Speaking of the accolade, Gordon Andrews, MD at Bathgate Business Finance, said: “There are more than 2,000 brokers in the NACFB and we were one of 10 companies shortlisted in one of the most competitive categories at the awards. Receiving ‘highly commended’ and enjoying a top three finish is testament to the hard work, adaptability and dedication of the Bathgate team and we are extremely proud of the result.

As well as its success at the Commercial Broker Awards, Bathgate Business Finance has also been shortlisted in the Ellis & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers Award for ‘Business of the Year’ at the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber’s Annual Recognition Awards 2021. The winner will be revealed at an awards ceremony at Chester Racecourse on Friday 12th November 2021.
