Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch 2022

Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch 2022 is just around the corner and the sold-out event will be welcoming former Liverpool and Everton goalkeeper and current sports commentator, Rachel Brown, as its guest speaker.

Rachel played for Liverpool FC from 1995 to 1998 and Everton from 2003 until 2014, making her debut for the England women’s national football team in 1997 and winning more than 80 caps.

Taking place on Thursday 15th September at Anfield Stadium, the Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch 2022 will welcome 350 guests for an afternoon of entertainment, exciting raffles and best dressed award, networking and fundraising for Marie Curie, all hosted by Happy Radio presenter, Darren Proctor.

For those who wish to continue the festivities, there will be bus transport back to Liverpool City Centre for an after party at Masons.

Originally founded and supported by Bathgate Business Finance, MSIF and DTM Legal in 2018, the Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch now comprises a host of proud sponsors including Brabners LLP, NatWest Commercial, Bibby Financial Services and Flavell Wealth Management, Langtons Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, Professional Liverpool and Griffiths & Armour.

Co-organiser Natalie Dye, from Bathgate Business Finance, said: “We’re so excited to be back again for 2022 and for a completely sold out event, no less! The support and enthusiasm for the event grows each year and it’s always such an uplifting day.

“This year we are supporting Marie Curie, which provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Last year they cared for more than 40,000 people across the UK, which makes it clear just how vital any funds raised are to helping the charity continue its incredible work.”

The 2022 event is sold out, but it’s never too early to save the date for next year – 21 September 2023.
