Double Win for Bathgate at National Awards

We are excited to have been named the winner in two categories at the prestigious NACFB Commercial Broker Awards 2023 – the SME Champion and Service Excellence award.

The Service Excellence Award, sponsored by Aldermore Bank, was a new category for 2023, established to recognise a firm that had provided exceptional levels of service to clients, setting a standard for the industry. Requirements for the category included being able to demonstrate a commitment to building strong and lasting relationships with clients and evidencing their ability to go above and beyond to meet the needs of SMEs.

The SME Champion Award, sponsored by Allica Bank, celebrated intermediaries who had partnered with lenders to support and champion British businesses, and demonstrate deals that had made a demonstrable and material impact to a small business.

The wins come two years after we were recognised as ‘Highly Commended’ in the CBILS Broker of the Year category in 2021, for our work supporting businesses during the pandemic.

Gordon Andrews, MD at Bathgate Business Finance, said: “What a great honour for the Bathgate team to pick up not one, but two prestigious national awards, having been judged by an independent panel of our industry peers. This is great recognition for the superb work that our team does on a day-to-day basis, and I am so proud of all of my colleagues who work really hard to achieve the high standards that we aspire to.”

We are also proud to have been shortlisted in the Professional Services Business of the Year category at the Merseyside Independent Business Awards (MIBS) 2023, the winners for which will be announced at Liverpool’s Rum Warehouse on Thursday 19 October 2023.
