Delamere Hike rounds off successful 2024 Freshwalks calendar

Earlier this month Bathgate Business Finance joined forces with Haines Watts Liverpool and Freshwalks Merseyside for its final walk of the year and what a day it was!
Boasting the biggest turnout of the year, with 53 keen hikers enjoying a leisurely 14km walk in a picturesque and autumnal Delamere Forest. The mostly flat trail started and ended at The Carriers Inn on Hatchmere Lake, taking in the Old Pale which provided stunning views across to as far as Liverpool’s iconic skyline.
Bathgate BDM Paul Trickett said: “It was a fantastic day filled with engaging conversations, new connections, and of course beautiful scenery. A total of 141 people have joined us on our Merseyside walks this year and we hope that we’ll welcome even more in 2025.
“I’d like to extend a big thank you to Michael Di Paola from Freshwalks for bringing together all of our trips this year so seamlessly. We also appreciate all of our fellow Freshwalkers who attended and made it such a great experience.
“We’re already planning our 2025 walks, with Old Roan to Aughton, Delamere and the Sefton Coastal Path all returning, with a brand new addition of a Llangollen and Dinas Bran route planned.”
