Bathgate Supports Wirral Businesses

Bathgate this month continued its strategic partnership with Wirral Chamber of Commerce, through a meeting with chamber team to discuss its members’ current business finance issues and the support that is available.

 Managing Director, Gordon Andrews and Sales Executive, Esther Rigby went along armed with bacon butties and plenty of positive approaches and advice on traditional and alternative financial products that would help chamber members navigate current pressures and business stresses.

 Managing cashflow was high on the agenda, and Gordon and Esther highlighted appropriate funding such as asset finance, invoice finance and tax loans and how Bathgate works with customers to find the best solution for individual business needs.

Gordon said: “Cashflow is one of the biggest pressures on SMEs and, right now, securing finance with traditional lenders can be more difficult, due to longer turnaround times.

 “We know that many are feeling that they have few options, but that isn’t the case and one of the aims of this meeting with our partners from Wirral Chamber was to present some of the solutions that are available.

 “It was a brilliant morning and we’re looking forward to working with the chamber to continue supporting its members and the Wirral economy by building relationships, collaborating with our sector peers and sharing the expertise of our team.”
